Visiting Bali in the Rainy Season (October–March)
Bali's rainy season runs roughly October to March, and it is a genuinely good time to tour: the island is lush and green, the famous sights are far less crowded, and prices ease. Rain usually comes as a short, heavy afternoon shower rather than all-day drizzle, so an early start often means dry, clear sightseeing.
We plan wet-season days around the weather: sunrise and morning tours like Mount Batur and Nusa Penida tend to beat the afternoon rain, and we keep a flexible order so we can swap stops if a downpour rolls in. Bring a light rain layer and quick-dry shoes, and you'll barely notice the showers.
Safety always comes first. On the rare day when conditions make a boat crossing or a trek unsafe, we will tell you honestly and there is no charge for a weather cancellation. Message us with your dates and we'll give you a frank read on what's realistic that week.
