Everything travellers usually ask before booking a Bali day tour. If your question isn’t here, message us on WhatsApp and a real person will reply, usually within minutes.
What pickup areas do you cover?
We offer free hotel pickup from Canggu, Seminyak, Ubud, Uluwatu, Sanur, and Kuta. Pickup times vary by area and tour and are confirmed in your WhatsApp booking message. If you are staying outside these areas, message us and we will let you know whether we can reach you.
What is included in the tour price?
Every tour price includes hotel pickup and drop-off, an English-speaking guide, transport, and the entrance fees listed on that tour page. Lunch is included only where stated. Personal expenses and gratuities are not included. Each tour page shows its own inclusions and exclusions in a clear table.
How long does each tour take?
Full-day tours run 9 to 12 hours, including hotel pickup and drop-off. The Uluwatu Sunset + Kecak is a 5 to 6 hour evening trip, and the Mount Batur sunrise trek returns by about 11:00 WITA. Exact pickup times are provided in your booking confirmation.
What is the difference between private and group tours?
Group tours share a vehicle with up to eight guests and follow a fixed schedule, which keeps the per-person price lower. Private tours give you an exclusive vehicle and guide and let you set the pace. A private car charter, driver only, starts from USD 45 per day.
How do I pay? Is there an online payment?
You pay the driver on the day of the tour, in IDR or USD cash. There is no online payment, no deposit, and no booking fee. The price shown is the final price per person, so there are no surprises when you arrive.
What is your cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour start, and a free date change up to 12 hours before. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable. Because no payment is taken upfront, there is nothing to refund in advance — you simply let us know on WhatsApp.
Do you provide child seats?
Yes. Request a child seat when you book via WhatsApp and we will confirm it for your tour date at no extra cost. Child seats fit children up to about 18 kg. Tell us your children's ages so we can plan a comfortable day for the whole family.
What languages do your guides speak?
All of our guides speak English. Some also speak Mandarin or Japanese. State your language preference in your WhatsApp booking message and we will match you with the right guide for your tour, subject to availability on your date.
Are your guides licensed?
Yes. Our guides hold government-issued licences from Dinas Pariwisata Bali, and our mountain guides are certified for the Mount Batur trek. Loka Bali Tours is a licensed operator and an ASITA member. You can read each guide's background on our Guides page.
Is hotel pickup really free?
Yes. Hotel pickup and drop-off from our six pickup areas is included in the tour price, not an add-on. The per-person price you see is what you pay, with no separate transfer charge. Pickup times depend on your area and the tour you choose.
Can you arrange a custom or multi-day itinerary?
Yes. Our private car charter lets you build your own route from USD 45 per day, and we can plan multi-day trips combining several tours. Message us on WhatsApp with your dates, group size, and the places you want to see, and we will quote it before you book.
Is it safe to travel and how do you handle weather?
Safety comes first: licensed guides, insured vehicles, and well-maintained equipment on every tour. In the wet season (October to March) we adjust timing or stops if conditions require, and on a rare cancellation for safety there is no charge. We will always advise you honestly on WhatsApp.
