How hard is the Sekumpul waterfall trek?
The trek to Sekumpul is moderate: a steady descent on steps and paths, then the same back up, about 45 minutes each way. A reasonable level of fitness helps. Your guide sets an easy pace and you can rest whenever you need.
Can I swim at the waterfalls?
Yes, at Banyumala the pool is calm and swimmable — bring swimwear and a towel. Sekumpul is more powerful, so swimming there depends on the day's water flow and your guide's advice.
Is North Bali far from the south?
Sekumpul is about 2.5 to 3 hours from the south coast, so this is a long but rewarding day. We pick you up early, and the drive through the highlands is part of the experience.
